The average visit to the museum’s permanent exhibition takes about two hours. An additional hour should be allowed to view any temporary or special exhibitions. The two hour and a quarter schools program consists of an introduction to the Holocaust, a brief documentary, a survivor testimony, a guided tour of the museum displays, reflection and farewell. There is also an opportunity to light a candle in the Memorial Room.
