“ I know I am me… but I don’t know what will happen tomorrow..”
What remains when our memory is lost?
Save the date for the return season of Dr Joseph Sherman’s hit one-man, one-musician play about memory. The son rescues fragments of life story from the oblivion of his parents’ Alzheimer’s disease, from a wartime Soviet childhood in Odessa, to a new life in St Kilda in the ‘70s and then to the forgetting.
In English, Russian and Yiddish, this further developed, new theatre piece meanders through the mystery, vulnerability and preciousness of memory itself. Co-presented by the Kadimah and the Jewish Holocaust Centre.
