"The Nona Lee School Education Programme"

Over 400,000 secondary school students have attended educational tours and programmes run by the Centre since its inception.

We will shortly be commencing our major redevelopment of the museum. The new museum will include interactive electronic displays as well as maps, photos, and artefacts which have not before been on display. The work will be finished by or in February 2010, and thus we will take bookings from March onwards. You will still be able to make bookings on line as in the past. The school programme will not change significantly, and will still include the heart of the programme, a survivor’s testimony. We recommend that you allocate 2 hours 15 minutes for your stay

The educational programme includes:

Tours and programs can be individually structured to suit visitor needs and study themes within the Victorian Essential Learning Standards program. Teachers and students can also obtain curriculum-based support material and advice on recommended educational resources

School bookings are available from Monday through Thursday, 10am or 12.45pm; Friday at 9.30am or 12pm.
Your booking will be confirmed upon receipt of form. Background information will be emailed to you upon confirmation of your booking.
