Special Exhibition - Registered, persecuted, annihilated: The Sick and Disabled under National Socialism

JHC Social Club guest speaker, Idan Goldberger, UIA Shaliach will be giving a lecture on "Idan Goldberger's Journey: From IDF Combat Soldier to UIA Shaliach".

During his service as a staff sergeant in the Israel Defence Force, Israeli-born UIA Executive Director, Idan Goldberger, was critically injured, shot in the head by a sniper.

Holocaust Survivor Talk: Irma Hanner

This month we are holding a Survivor talk by Irma.

Irma was born in Dresden, Germany in 1930. Her father died when she was young. Following the outbreak of the war, Irma returned home from school one day to find out her mother was taken by the Gestapo. Irma was waiting at home for two days alone before her aunty came and took Irma home with her.

The JHC Film Club will be screening the documentary "Defiant Lives" (2017) 90 mins, followed by a Q&A with Director & Writer, Sarah Barton.
