The JHC Social Club guest speaker, Megan Goldin, Journalist, Radio & TV Producer, will be be giving a lecture on “How the Media covers Israel”.

Megan Goldin was a former radio report and TV producer for Foreign Correspondent and the 7:30 Report early on in her career.

The Jewish Holocaust Centre guest speaker: His Grace Bishop Jovan Culibrk will be giving a lecture on the "Historiography of the Holocaust in Yugoslavia" -  the long struggle of historians to provide a full account of the Holocaust in Yugoslavia.

His Grace completed his post-graduate studies in Jewish Culture at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem and was the recipient of the 2004 Golda Meir Award.

The JHC Social Club guest speaker Dr Dan Porat, will be giving a lecture on “Iran... Israel, and the Bomb”.

Dr Ran Porat is a researcher at the Australian Centre for Jewish Civilisation (ACJC), Monash University. He teaches and lectures about Middle Eastern history, conflict studies and Israel studies at the university and the Jewish Museum of Australia.

Guest Speaker: Hom Chhorn

Hom has a young family and a comfortable life in suburban Melbourne, yet remains wracked by childhood memories of one of the worst atrocities in human history. At age 6, he was imprisoned at a remote site 4,000 miles away in rural Cambodia, where more than 30,000 people -- including his father and brothers -- were killed at the hands of a pro-communist regime known as the Khmer Rouge.
