In July 2009, the team from The Shtick, a weekly Channel 31 TV program and podcast, devoted an entire episode to the valuable work done by the Jewish Holocaust Centre over 25 years.
The program consisted of interviews with a number of the Centre's staff members: Bernard Korbman, Executive Director; Zvi Civins, Director of Education; Ursula Flicker OAM, Head of Archives Department; Lena Fiszman, Office & IT Manager; and George Braitberg, Guide; plus special guest, Sue Goldberg, talking about her 3rd generation book project: "Through Our Eyes - A Tribute to Our Grandparents". There also included footage of past Prime Minister, Bob Hawke; Phillip Maisel OAM, Head of Testimonies Department; Zyga Elton, Volunteer Librarian; and Survivor Guides: Halina Zylberman, Willy Lermer, Rosa Krakowska and David Prince.
Apart from discussing the work of the Centre over the past 25 years, the program also looked at future plans, such as the highly anticipated HOLAGIF 09 - Holocaust and Genocide International Film Festival (9 - 12 August), the use of interactive technology and the complete upgrade of the museum at the end of 2009.
The show has been split into three segments, and are available for you to view below. You can also choose to view the videos in full screen or in high quality using the controls at the bottom of the player.
